COMPLIMENTARY SAUNA
Enjoy our complimentary Far Infrared Sauna before any one hour spa experience. Sauna use is limited to 15 minutes per guest. Relax with cucumber water in our serene Relaxation Lounge and enjoy the snacks. To prolong the benefits of your services at SKIN, we offer many products for home care including Eminence Organic Skincare and Obagi Medical grade Skincare.
DEPOSIT FOR SERVICES WHEN BOOKING
A deposit of $50 per service is required when booking. You will forfeit this deposit if you fail to cancel or reschedule with 24 hr notice, regardless of reason. Couples massages, groups, and packages are required to provide 48 hr notice to cancel or reschedule.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
We kindly ask that all guests arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. You must complete your paperwork prior to your appointment. Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time, regardless of arrival time. Guests arriving late will receive a shortened service, regardless of arrival time. The full service price will still apply for late arrivals. If a guest arrives 15 minutes or more late, the appointment may be considered a no-show and the deposit or full service fee will be forfeited, at the spa's discretion.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is cash only, and cannot be placed on a credit card.
PRODUCT REFUNDS
Due to the nature of our business, there are no refunds on products. Please choose your products wisely. Our service providers are more than happy to assist you in making the right choice to meet your skincare needs, and offer samples. There will be no exceptions to this rule. All Sales Final.
SERVICE REFUNDS
There are no refunds on services. If management determines that compensation is appropriate, the guest will receive an in house gift card for an estimated dollar amount. Service providers are not permitted to grant refunds at any time.
GIFT CARDS
Unfortunately there are no refunds on gift cards. Gift cards may be used on services or products. No cash value on gift cards. Gift cards expire 5 years from the date of purchase.
SERVICE PACKAGES/SERIES REFUNDS
There are no refunds on service packages/series. *Cannot be combined with any other offer. Packages must be used within 12 months from date of purchase. No refunds. Packages are as offered and may not be altered or changed in any way. Prepayment in full is required to obtain package pricing.
WE POLITELY REQUEST THE FOLLOWING:
Please arrive earlier than your appointment time –at least 30 minutes. Should you arrive late, we will make every possible effort to accommodate you during the remaining time of your scheduled appointment. Your service will be shortened if you are late. You are responsible for the full service cost, even if you are late.
Complete all paperwork, via the email/text you receive, prior to your appointment. Please understand that if your paperwork is not completed prior to arrival to your appointment, then guests with completed paperwork will be given priority at check in. Uncompleted paperwork causes congestion at the front desk for check ins.
Only those receiving services are permitted in the relaxation area and service areas.
Peace and Quiet are essential elements of a relaxing spa experience. Therefore, we ask that you please turn your cell phones off and store them in your locker. Please be courteous to others, and stay off your cell phone. You will be asked to put your phone away if you are talking on your phone in the relaxation area.
Our spa therapists are sensitive to privacy issues. They will explain what to expect and respect your privacy at all times. We ask that you treat your service provider with respect, as well.
All services require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancelation, modification, or rescheduling. Spa Packages and couples massages require 48 hours notice for cancelation, modification or rescheduling. Any guest who cancels or reschedules after the required time frame will be charged $50 per service scheduled. We don’t mean to be offensive but in our world “time is money.” If our staff has a “no show” they earn no money. Please call if you can’t make your appointment and we will be happy to help you reschedule.
Personal amenities and lockers are available for your convenience. Please leave all valuables at home.
Ensure that we are aware of any medical conditions before your treatment commences.
All treatments are carried out subject to completion of our consultation form, which you are required to complete prior to your arrival. Please be honest on your forms.
Please advise us if you are pregnant or nursing, as at this time some treatments are not advisable. We can recommend treatments for ‘mothers to be’. A doctor's release is required for 'mothers to be' to be faxed to 219-663-9901 prior to your arrival.
Swimwear or shorts and shirt are obligatory when using the Far Infrared Sauna.
Treatments and facilities are only available to persons aged 13 years of age or over. A parent or legal guardian would have to sign the service release form, and be present on the premises.
All guests may change into a gown and slippers that are supplied for your use whilst in the spa.
A gratuity is a good way to acknowledge your service provider and express your appreciation. After your service, in the event you wish to leave any gratuity, tip envelopes are located at the front desk. (20% is customary) Gratuities are cash only and cannot be placed on the credit card.
