SilkPeel Dermalinfusion is also known as Diamond Glow.
SilkPeel™ is a clinically proven breakthrough system that combines precision non–invasive diamond tip exfoliation with Dermalinfusion™, a deep delivery of skin–specific solutions, to improve and revitalize your skin. The ONLY medical grade treatment of it's kind scientifically designed to simultaneously exfoliate, infuse patient specific dermaceuticals and vacuum.
We now offer a revolutionary treatment known as Silk Peel Dermalinfusion. The SilkPeel can help anyone who has acne, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, brown spots, mild wrinkles, skin dullness and large pores. Unlike other exfoliation treatments, the SilkPeel Dermalinfusion System combines non-invasive exfoliation with deep delivery of patient-specific solutions directly to the skin - without the use of crystal or other chemical exfoliants. The procedure is non-invasive and even soothing; delivering the results you want without harsh chemicals or uncomfortable treatments. SilkPeel Dermalinfusion stimulates skin to produce collagen by removing surface abnormalities and allowing better penetration of prescribed skin treatments. The SilkPeel is a 30-45 minute treatment and patients can return to activities immediately.
The unique Silk Peel Dermalinfusion system can be customized for acne patients with the Pore Clarifying System hand piece which is a unique new technology that infuses acne-clearing solutions into your skin, restoring a healthy, blemish-free complexion in as little as one week. The unique hand piece works by penetrating the skin’s surface, flushing away impurities, then infusing pores with Salicylic Acid to speed the healing process—all in one, fast, painless step. Keeping pores clear of debris like dead skin cells, the Pore Clarifying System reduces pore blockage and prevents breakouts.
AM I A CANDIDATE FOR THE SILKPEEL MD TREATMENT?
The treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin tolerates it.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
It is a fast, efficient treatment that takes about 45 minutes.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME OR PAIN?
There is no discomfort during the procedure. Slight redness may be apparent after the procedure but disappears within hours.
IS THIS A CHEMICAL PEEL?
NO! This is not a chemical peel.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SILKPEEL DERMALINFUSION AND MICRODERMABRASION?
SilkPeel Dermalinfusion is the only procedure that provides both exfoliation and delivery of skin-specific dermaceuticals under pressure, allowing you to reap benefits on an accelerated basis. SilkPeel is unique because it does not use abrasive particles OR chemicals. SilkPeel Dermalinfusion stimulates skin to produce collagen by removing surface abnormalities and allowing better penetration of prescribed skin treatments.
WHAT RESULTS MAY BE EXPECTED?
Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just 1 treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
A series of 6 treatments, one every other week is recommended for maximizing your results and improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and oily/acne prone skin. After your first series of treatments, you can maintain your results with a treatment every 3-4 weeks.
WHERE SHOULD I GO FOR TREATMENTS?
Only a licensed professional with the knowledge, skill and training required to achieve optimum results should perform SilkPeel MD treatments.
CAN SILKPEEL MD TREATMENTS BE COMBINED WITH OTHER KINDS OF TREATMENTS?
Absolutely! A combination treatment with a chemical peel enhances results for both treatments since the penetration of the active ingredients in the treatments is greater.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
The results last for several months or longer with a proper home skincare regimen. Because the procedure is so easy and convenient many patients choose to have ongoing SilkPeel treatments to maintain best results once per month. Often patients will do treatments before a big event such as a wedding or reunion.
WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE AFTER THE SILKPEEL PROCEDURE?
There is no down time. You may apply makeup (recommend GloMinerals) and return to activities immediately. The skin may be pink for an hour after a treatment. You may have some flaking and slight peeling after the treatment. SPF protection should be used daily. Patients who are prone to cold sores may need to take medication on treatment day to prevent an outbreak. Any type of exfoliation can stimulate a cold sore if you have ever had an outbreak in your lifetime.
